B.N. Armas was born in San Diego, California and raised in San Ysidro. He’s a tribal member of the Chihene Nde Nation of New Mexico. He holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and an Educational Specialist Degree from Point Loma Nazarene University. He began writing his debut novel after years of researching his family’s tribe. His fascination for his Native roots were inspired by his mother who was proud of her Indigenous heritage.
